The Unwritten Tales of The Tongue II

After the amazing response to the first edition, we are now in the process of producing the second edition to The Unwritten Tales of the Tongue, a project that was originally performed as a play.

As with the last book, the themes explored are home, belonging, war, racism, fear, jealousy, motherhood, gender and lived experiences. The difference with this book is that there will be illustrations to tell our stories alongside the writing. We also hope the book will be more accessible by doing an audio of the poem and songs which will be released on a podcast.

We are working with local artists to produce these original illustrations and hope to publish the book later this year.
